i keep oil fouling spark plugs and im not sure why ive tried changing fuel ratios and leaning out the carbs but its still happening can anyone help me as its no fun riding on one cylinder

Hi, start with the basics;

Is your plug hot enough? You may need to be running an 8 instead of a 9 (if your using ngk's that is) if your not riding as hard as some.

Whats your oil pump setting?

Is it the right or left cylinder?

Does that cylinder smoke more when running?

its the front cylinder and i am running premix i have baught a couple of 8s as i ride it more around town and i think i may have found the problem i got the bike about 2 weeks ago and i dont think the carbs have been cleaned in a few years they were full of crap all clean now just gotta put it back together and tune them up
