Hi all, been lurking for a while, trying to get as much info on the NSR as possible Cool
I'm a big fan of 2 strokes, currently have a few, but just bought an mc18 to add to the collection Very Happy (My first ever Honda!)
Will look forward to picking brains when/if I need to.
Met RichG at Stafford, nice fella with nice bikes Wink
If your all as nice as him, we'll get on well!

Welcome to the forum bobbyboy. Do you have a Mk1 (R2/4J or Mk2 (R5/6K)?

You're on the slipery slope now... I give you 6 months before you've bought a second one! Wink

Good to meet you Rob at Stafford. Welcome to NSR-World!
I think you pointed this one in the bike catalogue as the one you had bought? An R5K.

Here she is Very Happy
Less than 7500 miles, only second owner in this country.
Battery was dead, no mot or tax, think it needs a service, but had a good deal on it I think.
Battery replaced, going for an mot this week Wink
Not sure how standard it is, radiator is grey/silver with a HRC logo in black across the front, could be a tat thing by previous owner or something good?
There is also some sort of aluminium catch tank under the rear seat, with a pipe running from somewhere near the front of the bike, to an outlet to the rear.
Could this be the overflow/catchtank for the radiator if its not original?
Will pull the plastics off to find out.

Get your name down for the NSR-World track / dyno / ride event in May.
At least you don't have far to travel Wink

Yup, that does look really good.

'89 MC18, best of all the NSR's.

Can't believe how clean and original it seems.
Might be because it only came to the uk less than 2 years ago,
not had the chance to be butchered by a spotty teen Wink

Alloy catch tank in the tail?

Very good looking plastics?

Low miles?

Possible HRC radiator?

Raced... Shocked

I thought that too!
But everything else looks untouched, with none of the usual marks anywhere else.
If it has, maybe I've got a 21/28 beater Wink
