Need Reeds and Dry Clutch Cover Gasket.

Sun Apr 06, 2008 5:44 pm » Post: #1 » Download Post

I have heard that reeds for a CR125 will fit any truth to this and does it have to be same year or what. Or if upgrade is recomended what would you go with...not racing just street riding

Any one have a clutch cover gasket they don't need, just realized I didn't get one with the parts I ordered for engine rebuild...already in the middle of the project so I need it quick.

Thanks for your help in advance

If you mean the big side cover gasket, it is actually available from any Honda deal for about $7. I ordered mine from Ron Ayers.

It just so happens I'm working on my bike so I have my parts box and manuals out.

You can run a parts check on the Ron Ayers site. I think the cost was about $7.

P.S. sorry if that sounded pissy I didn't mean to come across the way it looks when I read it back.

It doesn't sound pissy, it just sounds idle, after all the part number is just 6 mouse clicks from this post.

Again I appologize. I have a parts manual, I just didn't realize that I could get the part from a regular dealer using that part number... thanks again...

Anyone have any ideas on the reeds one set was ok so I would rather not buy carbon and replace the good ones unless I absolutely have too

I've got a couple sets of reeds I could probably part with.
