RS250 HRC wheel fitment

Thu Dec 17, 2009 5:59 pm » Post: #1 » Download Post

I have access to a 1999 HRC RS250 wheel. Only problem is that it's right side drive not left side drive. Can this wheel be modified to fit a 1995 NSR250SP?

As I understand it, it should bolt right up to the MC28 OK....... the only issue being the spokes face the wrongway.

Seen it done before, but did look a little weired.

You say it looked weird, but most people would never notice as they are too busy loving their backwards ignition and tamper-proof carbs! ROTFLMAO

The standard Pro-Arm wheel looks weird anyway, as it has too many spokes! Laughing

Yes. Choose the tyre carefully though. NSR's tend to handle like crap with over-sized wheels/tyres without proper suspension mods.

The '28 is backwards anyway so a backwards facing wheel is perfect.

But yes, an RS wheel fits a '28.

I've just pinched this from Moriwaki Man's Ti exhuast post, but it shows what an RS250 wheel looks like on an MC28
