HRC Y Piece or not

Is there any way of distinguishing the Standard Y piece from the HRC Y piece?
Just trying to figure out if the Y piece in my bike is standard or HRC.
I know the X piece is HRC but not sure about the Y piece.

HRC Y Piece has a little bits of paint on it I believe.

I hope so anyway, because that's what my "HRC" Y piece looks like.

The X piece I have is red and it has bits of white paint on it but I can't seem to see any paint on the Y piece. Maybe it has worn off.
