Just a stupid question... but im going to throw it out there.

Is the rs250 LAMS legal in NSW Australia?

I know they can be made road legal with abit of "compliance"ing with an engineers cert... but the RTA does not say anything about the rs250... OR power/weight ratio restrictions for any other <260cc bike.

OR am I just on crack?

you're on crack. There'd be no way in hell the RTA would let an RS on the road, let alone a learner........

i was just mainly thinking about it from a technical perspective

so why cant an RS be made road legal? too peaky/light?

actualy i've been riding for about 3 years...

just had it expire a few times

You could definately V5 (Uk logbook, needed for registration plate) a pre 2001 RS250.
After that it'd have to pass a single vehicle approval test which includes noise and emmisions so theres no chance.
