This is the best 'barn find' I have ever made. One original 1990 NSR250 MC21 TTF3, completely standard as HRC sold it, inc original bodywork, stand, manuals and spares kit. It was raced 3 times before the owner crashed lightly in 1991 and he put the bike in his shed. It's been there, untouched, ever since.
I'm intending to get it back to as new condition, so will keep you posted with progress. I have just changed the tyres (they were stamped 1990 Bridgestone, so I assume they were the tyres the bike was sold with) and have managed to locate a new F3 petrol tank.
Great work Dan....you seem to be 'on a roll' currently, finding all these F3's.
I hope we are going to see at least one at the NSR World Track Day at Llandow? _________________ Rich

Mate, that's incredible. What a machine and your 3XV gets in shot in those pics too, thereby doubling the jealousy factor.
Where the tank is concerned - i'd just get that one fixed. I once low sided my bike on a gravelly road - the NSR slid along on its side and went filler cap first into the curb. It looked like someone had dropped a concrete block on it from a height. The filler cap was pushed way down into the tank and i, naturally, thought it was scrap.
I took it to my local car body paint and repair dude (at a friend's recommendation) and he got this slide hammer tool out which spot welded itself onto the surface of the tank and by use of the slide hammer part, the guy pulled the worst of the deformation out and got the filler cap in the right position again. Then after a bit of filler to smooth things off and a re-spray, the tank looked as new again. He even got that raised lip around the the filler cap to look right - everyone who saw the tank after the crash was amazed. As was I!
Are the wheels on that bike lighter than the standard SP Magteks? _________________ After years of moaning about immigrants now i am one...
Yes I'll be bringing the red & white F3 to Llandow. The white one is a long term project, so I expect to be working slowly on it for at least a year or more before I get to ride it.
Hi Hermit
Yes the bare HRC wheels are lighter than the road Magteks, as I'm pretty sure they have a higher magnesium content, but as the F3 front wheel has bigger 295mm discs, it weighs similar with discs on to an SP Magtek with road 276mm discs.
