Anyway we were going really well. We had already done 3 loads to the dump. We had just started the last load and Kat and I heard a big crunch. We looked at each other and figured it was the neighbours fighting again.
Then we heard "DAAAD".
That was it, as soon as my son called me I knew what had happened.
He had tried to mount my bike from the right hand foot peg and pulled it over onto the car.
This is a picture of my bike after I had removed most of the damage:
Where's the option for driving into the outback and "losing" the kid?!
Seriously though, if I'd ever even thought of touching any of Mum and Dad's "toys" (i.e. the record player etc.) when I was a kid, I'd have had my fingers chopped off! _________________ Andy.

All boys should have their own motorbike,If he had his own bike he wouldnt have been messing with yours so its your fault
Having said that if I had done that to my dads bike when I was a kid I would have got a good slap!
Are you sure he's really YOUR kid? _________________ MC21SP Plaything

i also grew up knowing not to touch stuff,my dad wasnt to bad though, its my mum i had to worry about as she's nuts i'm with andy on the outback idea _________________ ive seen more tarts than mr kipling
Sorry to see that Andy. But remember they are our little angels and he didn't mean it. I'm lucky that my boy usually asks before doing things like that. So as much as I can I tell him yes but you have to wait for daddy, so he's programmed his brain that he can get what he wants if he asks AND he waits till I can get there.
I bought a track bike last year that had Ebay fairings on it. If you're used to OE ones, don't get them. You'll be even more sad. They look cheap, fit cheap, feel cheap, etc etc.
Option D is buy a set of Tyga fairings for it.
Depends if your want OE shape or not.
The Tyga stuff is good quality.
When i dropped mine, it did a fair bit damage to the oe plastics. The rear cowl was cracked in lots of places, and the side fairing was pretty bad. I got a guy to plastic weld it, got it resprayed and re decaled and it looked fine.
You could also look for 2nd hand oe plastics and get them resprayed to what you want. There is a wrecker at Slacks Creek that keeps a fair bit of NSR gear. I recon they will have everythign you need off the shelf too.
As for your boy, maybe it is time for a bike for him !!! _________________ Winning isn't everything, but loosing isn't anything
(Bikes and kids don't mix).By that I mean real bikes.
He has his own pocket bike but like any normal person they will choose the NSR every time.
As for tyga, I'm not a fan of there fairings and want to keep it's stock-look. So with the ebay I can get it back in original colors. Besides, Tyga charged me $50 postage on about $6 worth of nuts. Imagine the postage on $1000 worth of kit. I might as well go buy Doohans last 500gp bike, probably cheaper. I must admit they do have cool stuff, I just can't justify the postage. I wonder how long it would take to swim to Thailand.

Just a couple of things.....we don't set the postage rates. We get a discount from both the PO and DHL, which is passed directly to you (unlike some other places it seems). We make nothing from the shipping and try to will try to offer a cheaper alternative if possible.
As for swimming to Thailand? Ask Andy, he's done it a few times.
Tyga make OE shape fiberglass replacement fairings. I have not seen these personally, but if the quality is the same as their other kits, they would be very good. Plus they are 1 piece body, not 4.
I bought a fairing kit (no rear cowl though) with screen, rear hugger and some other parts.
The freight was 190 ASD, which i thought was very good. But the impressive fact was that i had it in 7 days !!!!! _________________ Winning isn't everything, but loosing isn't anything
I know this Matt. I have spoken to Paul about it before. But just because YOU don't set the postage rates it doesn't make it any cheaper. I'm not having a go at Tyga in any way, I just like to spend my money wisely. If I can get an item cheaper elsewhere I will go through them.
As for the 1 piece body, I prefer having a service panel. Just makes it easier to play with the good stuff.
