I'm trying to determine if the cylinders on my MC21 are A, B, or C type.
The front (horizontal) cylinder is clearly marked "B", but I don't see a mark on the rear cylinder. I've checked at the base of the cylinder and next to the exhaust. Engine is stock as far as I know.
Do both cylinders bear an identifying mark, or are they both identified by the mark on the front cylinder?
Also is it possible for the cylinders to be of different types? (ie. front A and rear B)
Thanks in advance, and apologies if this info has been covered elsewhere. _________________ PROSPEC QUARTER !!
Both cylinders should have markings, though its not unknown for them to be missing.
Front and rears are often marked differently.
Sling a bore gauge down the unknown cylinder to work out your piston to bore clearance and decide what piston is required. _________________ If I have to take the carbs off once more...
lol if of course you don't have a bore guage take the barrel to a local engineers and they will be able to measure it and your pistons. _________________ If I have to take the carbs off once more...
