I recently acquired a number of HRC jet kit parts for my MC21. While I now have multiple sets of A, B & C needles, I also have a couple of sets of needles that I cannot find any info on. They are marked as follows:
J2GD
J06C
JHMU (The J is really faint)
Can anyone shed some light on what application these are for?
I thought they might have been for avgas, or F3 carb bits. I was going to give them away or swap them if I knew what they were to be used for and someone had a need for them.
I don't have earlier info to hand on this PC, only in books back home, but all the needles before the J2BA's (i.e. 1992~) are generally far too rich for a street bike. _________________ Andy.

I HAVE F3 PARTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
All the HRC stuff reads rich to lean... xxxA is a thin (richer) needle, xxxZ is a thick (leaner) needle.
Buy some HRC books on Yahoo! Japan. You'll learn an awful lot from them if you study them carefully. There's nothing like having those special books for reference! _________________ Andy.

Thanks for that info Andy So my f3 carb needles read jo6d so I can assume that there a rich Needle??. IS it possible to run the standard needle's in the F3 Carb's as I'm finding the jo6d needles way to rich??.
Yes, no problem at all using any needle (including stock ones, and bear in mind there are a number of profiles to play with if you collect MC16, MC18 I & II, and MC21 needles!) in HRC carbs. _________________ Andy.
