i looked into this as i wanted a wavy to match the fronts and the conclusion i came to was no
i had a company over here ( abe all bike engineering) make me one so they may be able to help if you really get stuck _________________ Half the strokes, twice the fun
i took my mc21 into 'the chain gang' here in Brisbane and they said they had never made any disks with the same measurements and would have to custom make one for me for $200+ . ill give them a ring about the cbr600 tho, any particular year cbr600?
and is there any difference performance wise by getting it made wavy? the only difference i can think of it that it might cool more effectively whilst also weighing a bit more than a standard disc.
My memory is horrible but it was the first generation cbr600. I believe the brakes were the same for all years. Maybe 87-89? I'm pretty sure about the years. Wavy discs may save you a bit of weight, cool slightly better and keep the pads cleaner.
Paul why dont you just put a new rotor on.I have just got on from EBC cost $280 nz.Very shiny and round!.Zink plated steel Iam going to put a pair on the front as well next race season.Or you could try FGB discs in Waihi.Their email is sales@powermotorcycles.co.nz George got a rear rotor for his race RGV up here in North Is and it works fine.If you ask them they can do any pattern you want wavey drilled etc.Hope this helps
