hi

does anyone know if a r5k nose cone will fit r2j lower fairings???

i have checked pics on the net and it looks like they are different but i am not 100% sure.

i checked the parts manual and the seem to be the same.

now i am confused.

The upper to lower section on 2J is level. I think 5Ks are angled, so no I don't think so

If you are looking for a 2J upper, I reckon your only open is to repair what you've got or buy from Japan.

If you've a damaged upper Alkamoto should be able to sort it out

I've bought a few 2J upper fairings from Japan using Japan Auction Center, and they always arrived intact. Probably won't be cheap though. A clean one could cost £250 + VAT + shipping. Everything I've bought recently over £18 seems to get VAT. It used to be random

they're based in wales. i'll try finding their address.

i have started fixing my front fairing.
after using a full can of fibre glass resin and bits from a damaged nc30 nose. i have managed to repair it fairly well.
just need it painted.
all i need now is a left rear r2j fairing preferably in blue and white.
