Within reason, anything that takes load off the crank is a good thing... you can go too light though! (Talking HRC, not OEM flywheels.)
Don't take too much off it or it can disintegrate! Get someone who knows what they are doing to machine it... i.e. someone who's done NSR flywheels before, as there's a nasty bit just waiting to catch you out! _________________ Andy.
