Front Coil Location

Sat Jun 26, 2010 10:44 am » Post: #1 » Download Post

Can anyone tell me how the front coil is fixed to the frame.

Mine was just zip tied to a cable and hanging there, not as Honda intended I am sure.

Thanks,

Russ

I've got the rubber mount, is this just zipped to the frame, or is there a bracket or something else that it fixes to.

Russ,

Yes, there is a metal bracket that attaches to the cross member of the frame, that the rubber mount then attaches to.

If you can't find one, I am sure it wouldn't be that hard to create one with some strapping bent and cut properly.

Thanks for that.

I'll have a go at making something this evening.
