any info for japanauctioncenter.com? (mc18)

Wed Sep 15, 2010 5:49 am » Post: #1 » Download Post

Hi all, will you help me please.

I have search second hand parts for my mc18 from japanauctioncenter.com and found many list on there like pgm II, wire harnes, etc. I found that the price is significantly lower than any supplier in my local area.

But, I had bad experience for picking some goods overseas, I have scammed ones by seller from ali***a, so I will never spend money for nothing again Sad.

Does nobody has bought from japanauctioncenter.com?

I want to buy some and shipped to my home country (indonesia).

any other experience shared will be gratefully Very Happy

Perhaps look at one of the other proxy bidding companies that have an English user interface (or other preferred language). There are a couple. Pays to shop around too, some of them are more expensive than others.

If you subscribe as a Supporting Member, we have an agent who buys in Japan that posts in the Members area.

Thing is they still don't list the full amount - the search engine is running on their search words (pull down option of what bike and parts to look for)

I have one for putting on my website so folks can select the part they want in English (or a dozen other languages) even with the description text translated.

However I want them to add more search terms and also try and change the translator they use as it doesnt understand Japanese syntax and lots of parts come up as saying it's OK when they aren't - a very clever ploy by Spongebob to put OK into his listings as it makes all his parts look good (they are actually just saying it was removed from the bike OK) Shocked

Other seller will say item does not work but translatoer changes that into working item - I wonder how many duff parts have been shipped world wide because of that ! Oh and who would admit they spent big coin on crap ??

Be careful......

MM!

I've never had any problems with buying parts from Japan Auction Centre. Their service is great

Shipping and VAT costs in the UK can be a hassle. Anything over £18 tends to get Parcel Force charges and VAT

I use Bing to translate the page (right click if you using IE8), as well as the translate button on the site

As with any remote purchase including eBay there's always a risk in the quality

MM, I agree totally - I wasn't suggesting that they're perfect, just that there is more than one option.
