figured i would start with the small bits and live and learn. The panels are going to be a championship white like they use on the honda type R. using a metallic red on the small bits. still debating on the use of any designs or stripes at this point. appreciate input.

That looks like a good job . I dont know about rubbing the base red before the clear coat may affect the adheasion of the clear . The normal is about 320 - 400 grit before a cover spray of colour then clear straight over . Looks like you got good depth with a good coat of clear . I like to put on a lot of clear to give the paint a real deap look .
