Will a carbon top yolk cover for a nc30 fit my mc21?
Or does anyone know where I can get one that will fit?

I seem to recall it's the NC29 cover that fits.

Actually, if you go to the Fibre-Lyte site and check CBR400, you can see the various templates...

http://www.fibre-lyte.co.uk/

It's CBR400R Tri-Arm that is the same for the top yoke cover, and CBR400RR Gull-Arm (universal) cover for the instruments.

I believe the Tri-Arm instrument cover is good for the MC18's.

Just bought one but not a fibrelite one. Does not fit properly as it fowls the fork legs. Should it be an exact fit? Or is a bit of messing around normally required?

I had a Fibre-Lyte one years ago, and it was fine, until I wanted to pull the forks up through the triples. I think maybe the NC triple is flat whereas the NSR triples have a very slight arch to them.

I was never personally convinced I liked the covers (had one for the instruments too) and only ever fitted the triple cover with a pair of black cable ties. I think both items got slung out many years ago! Fresh satin black paint is nicer... HRC triples are even better still! Wink
