My MC 21 was running on 1 cylinder, after i take caffeinejoe90 advise, my MC 21 start on 1-2 kick, but the top cylinder can't burn up all the fuel (92octane added octane booster and 2t oil). the spark plug is wet. then i find out the top cylinder have a very weak spark. i have change a new iridium spark plug and battery, but still have the same problem. if anyone know what is the problem? I'll appreciate your help. thank you
weak spark probably isn't due to the spark plug, unless it's really fouled.
But since you have changed it and are still having the same issue, I would look at seeing what the ignition coil is doing for that cylinder. Measure the output to determine what level of voltage is even getting to the spark plug and go from there.
cgallant,Kostas Dee thanks for your advise.
I don't know iridium spark plug is not good for 2T.
any recommend on spark plug.
i am short of knowledge, hope to learn more from you guy.
It's really not correct to simply say use a cold plug in hot climates, and use a hot plug in cold climates. You have to look at the state of tune of an engine. For most applications the BR9ECM is fine. You might move to the 10, or 10.5 if you have a highly tuned engine used for racing.
i have my mc28 sit in my garage for more than a year.
can i replace mc28 ignition coil on my mc21??
if error show in the speedometer, is it mean the pgm unit problem???

Err2 means an RC valve problem.
Err3 means a TPS problem.. _________________ Please do not PM me technical questions, if you can't find it on the Forum start a thread
today i check the ignition coil, that is fine...
so i try to start up the engine. i kick start the bike, i saw there some gas fly out from the top cylinder air intake.(i left the gas tank and air intake off the bike.)
when the rpm get around 3000rpm and up, it firing sometime.
is it mean the gas too rich in the top cylinder??
if yes, how can i adjust the carburetor??
i find out what cause the error from my mc28
i forgot to plug in the throttle position sensor..
problem come again.
it start up, but when i try to start up the bike later time, i can't kick start it again.
so i try to push start it, it crank but not starting.
when i kick start the bike, i feel no compression on some of the kicks.
so i think, i need to have a compression test for it.
is there anything i have to check beside the compression??
by the way, what role is Woodruff Key?
i saw it in the tyga performance web page, it is high performance parts.
how i determinate which offset degree is good for my bike?
i know i have too many question, but please help.
thanks
