Stand bobbins

Wed Dec 08, 2010 8:15 pm » Post: #1 » Download Post

Can anyone tell me if the MC18 R5k has threaded holes on the swinging arm for paddock stand bobbins? If so what size threads are they please?

I am collecting one tomorrow and like to use a paddock stand when strapping bikes down in the ban, it would be goof to know what bolts to take.

Thanks in advance

Mine had some threaded directly into the swingarm...never a problem though take care as it does make the bike sit quite near the floor, you could only just get a tyre warmer on.

It's got a hollow spindle so a length of threaded bar through the centre does the trick, no good for removing wheels though.

I am liking the MC18 although it's a bit cold out in the workshop to do much with it tonight, it looks pretty good next to my "garbage" RGV's Wink
