Where to buy jets?

Mon Nov 08, 2010 4:17 pm » Post: #1 » Download Post

I know this is a jetting discussion, but I am not talking sizes. I want to get my bike to a safe fueling state after I have rebuilt it and was wandering where you guys get your jets. I have seen Mikuni jets on eBay of varying sizes, but not sure if they are the correct type.

Also, where can I discuss safe jetting? I have Carbon membership Wink

You need kehin jets.

Honda sell them, the part numbers can be found in the carb tuning section of the main site.

99103-MA4-0380 for standard [from the Online Parts Manual - link to the left!].

Logic would dictate 99103-MA4-0400 for 40`s.

Wow, talk about thread dredging.
I am looking for jets for my MC21.

I followed the link to http://www.allensperformance.co.uk/keihinjets.html and found they do main, slow and power jets. I need to double check part numbers.
They also have a section for needles.
Can anyone confirm these will fit my carbs? Correct me if I am wrong, aren't our carbs Keihin FCR 32mm?

You stand corrected. They are TA series. Confirmed in the Technical section.

There ain`t much that`s not on the site, if you actually look for it!

Sorry I could have worded my question a bit better.
Yip I know the MC21 uses TA22 and TA22B carbs.
I can see a couple of variations of FCR carbs on the net, looking at my carbs they look very similar to the FCR's. I thought the TA might be a type or variation of a FCR.
Allans performance shows measurements for their FCR needles, I guess my next step is to accurately measure my needles and see if they match with any of the FCR needles.
