It's true, but don't forget your's was split at least twice to have all bearings replaced and looking at the quality of the bearings that had been fitted when you seized it you've got to cast doubt on the quality of the first rebuild
Or maybe I'm just being a little blinkered and unwilling to accept the truth as mine looks like it's had a big end done
didnt think you had to split the crank to do the outers
