. The brackets are one offs made by Nigel Kimber (NK Racing). He also made the end cans and did the stem swap. I wanted the calipers positioned so that at a glance they look like radials. I then had the brackets anodised black so they looked more like part of the forks than part of the calipers. I have a matching rear caliper which I want to fit "underslung".
The brakes are if anything too powerful. There is plenty of feedback from them, but with such a light bike, a gentle squeeze with 2 fingers will get the back wheel in the air. I'm just waiting for the day when a pheasant runs out in front of me and I grab a panic handfull
