No. The link plates form part of a "rising rate" setup, and altering them completely alters the way the suspension works. Not to say you can't make link plates that will work, but it's not just a case of "the shock's 40mm taller, I'll make the plates 20mm shorter". The distance between each of the three holes from the centre of the plate effects all manner of things, as does the length of the "dog bone" that connects to the back of the frame.
