Its only a single stud that this has happened to. Its the one closest to the exhaust port so guess it just fatigued.

What os the difference between time-sert and helicoil. I already have a helicoil kit so was hoping to get away with that.

I havent take the head off and figured I could retap and coil it with the head on. But fluid has leaked between the gasket and head so guess I should replace it. They are just difficult and expensive to get in NZ.
