over rev increase

hello. we have a stock mc21 dry.
if you get off the fuse from the servomotor the servo stops to work.
with your hand you can spin the mechanism and set the rc valves to be all the time full open.
you spin it all the way up. the valves touch the cylinder. (no 2mm clearance)

i did some runs on my 2 nsr's and i think that i had better over-rev and more power on the top with this way.
could this be true? have anyone see than on a dyno?

here is my slow nsr in the same hour-road.
in the first video the bike works the rc like a stock one.

in this run i pull the fuse away and i think it revs 200-300 rpms more and go to bigger top speed faster.

i didnt saw any big drop of torque at low rpms. the torgue it's almost the same

i did the same in my fast nsr and i see adout 400rpm more. (it went to almost 14.000rpm) (i have tryed 2 clocks because i didnt believe the numbers)

the best rev time is in 1:43

Locking the power valves in the open (up) position won't give you any advantage unless they were badly adjusted originally. What you will lose is mid range, so in my opinion, it's a pointless exercise. All you are achieving is additional stress on the motor by making it rev harder for no real gain.

That's just my opinion of course Smile
