Hello from new NSR owner :)

Hi NSR-world

Thought I'd just introduce myself and me new bikes Smile Been a passive member of this site for 7 years. Back then when i joined i was close at buying a mc21r in the UK (I'm from Denmark). Didn't get it and since prices have sky rocketed! So put the thought of owning a NSR250 out of my head.

Just until i saw a track mc18r2 for sale in DK, but with a knackered crank it didn't seem like a good purchase. but never mind, the only for sale in a long time... Finally i thought i would buy it, but my lovely gf talked me out of it as it really wasn't the bike I've always wanted. Same night as she did i emailed another guy in DK who I was in contact with 7 years ago, pbekkerh. Had heard of a sale of some mc21's so asked if he still had his. He had and intended to sell them. Long story short, 2 days later we shook hands and made a deal Smile
He had intended to sell to the UK if noone in DK would be interested (sorry Andy and Stephenrc45 if you were aiming at buying!)
You probably won't hear more from Poul (pbekkerh) as he's made a clean cut and sold me all bike related stuff he owned. I even got his 2 little model bikes of the NSR's Smile

Now I'm the proud owner of a '90 mc21SP (somewhat running) and a 93 mc21SE (non-runner) and a bunch of parts.
The intestion will be to make a nice bike out of the SE for the streets and a racer from the SP. It's the closest I'll get to a propper 2 stroke GP racer for what i find is reasonable money. The RS250 would be a dream but the prices...

Haven't really touched the bikes since I rolled them into the garage. Plenty of other projects Wink

I have a nice little collection of Hondas:
CBR400 NC29 (good old track day bike, owned since 2008)
RVF400 CN35 (street tool, with Dymags and soon Tyga front fairing and cbr1000 rear end)
RS125 moto3 clone (crf250r engine in it with a 275 big bore kit)
3 CRF150r minimotards (one to be sold)
Pitpro minimotard (Daytona 150 Honda copy engine, to be sold)

Finally, hope you'll help me in my way to 2 great bikes in the future Smile

And just a few pics of it all:
