NSR feature in August Practical Sportsbike

Mostly good article
I laughed when I read a 40bhp MC28 isn't as fast as modern sports bike. Maybe it needs another 160bhp
They didn't mention if either bike had been derestricted.
Both bikes looked very tidy. A credit to their owner
We should really arrange a full set of NSRs, all derestricted for a group test

I have read about 20 articles of nsr's and all of them were restricted.
Why is that?
Is there a rule in Britain that you cannot drive a derestricted bike and write about it?

I'm glad in a way, 'cause it keeps the price down on some models

Yes maybe Smile
But it's the same with my VJ23. Never read an article about a full power one like mine.

Magazine's only ever test 40hp or 45hp NSR's because if they tested real ones then it wouldn't be fair to other (domestic) model 250's.
