as on purchasing a cracking Mc28 I cannot but ask... is there a different cassette gearbox you can get that will deal with the British roads a little better.. i.e that will give it a bit more length in each gear.. i.e a tooth less on each gear ?? just a thought

Wouldn't it be a whole lot easier and cheaper just to change the rear sprocket down a couple of teeth to achieve the same net result?
