I prefer the look of some of the RS250 fairings and they seem to be easier to find than NSR racing ones anyway. Obviously I'd need to make up custom mounts etc, but in terms of fitment I'd have thought it'd be a similar size.
I was thinking of maybe a 1994 RS250 fairing for my MC21 for track days.
If you go for rs250 bodywork Ian, make sure you use 92 backwards ie nf5, as that is more in keeping with nsr's,from 93 onwards nx5, ie the single sided swing arm model, just dont look right on an nsr, in my opinion anyway. If its only for a track bike why not go for chinese and get them to fill in the headlight etc, thats what i done, a lot cheaper than fibre glass and then getting it painted. _________________ Proud Father of , 05 ktm 400exc supermoto 2018 honda crf rx supermoto
I have to agree with Les, Chinese is probably the easiest option.
However if you did want to fit The NX5 bodywork, the seat unit is too long, so need cutting at the front and will need some brackets to bolt it back to the sub frame. The front fairing needs new upper fairing stays to be made, and a bracket to extend the clock mount out to meet the fairing.
An alternative if you do want the RS250 look is to use Tyga a Performance stuff. I've got some, and it's a nice fit.
