yes the 28's calipers are the same as standard as the RVF... But it is 280Kg lighter so I think you know which has better braking! _________________ NSR300R - Why did i ever have a 250...
I thought the pads in the 28 are the same as the RC30, RVF and early 'Blade?
Andy, A site section with a compatibility table would be really cool.
You know, what fits what - Firestorm disks in 28 forks, gearbox info, SP clutch plates fitting VJ23 even.etc etc?
All the cross over and upgrade details?
Lot of work I know but it's all in the posts I bet? _________________
And this is an RC30 caliper, TBF my RVF stylie ones look better
SP1/SP2 calipers are a well known RVF400 upgrade so it'd work on the '28 too, the slightly bigger pistons mean more pressure on the pad for a given pressure at the lever. It's not so much the the lever moves that much further either. _________________ Please do not PM me technical questions, if you can't find it on the Forum start a thread
You'll notice from the image that fontyyy posted, that the bolts go through the caliper into the fork leg... just what you need on an MC21 (or MC18)! _________________ Andy.

If you want to be really trick Billy you need some HRC NLO RC30 calipers, they have thicker pistons to help prevent brake fade plus come with all Ti bolts. Very cool. _________________ If I have to take the carbs off once more...
