Hey, I'm rebuilding an nsr and have got new head gasket sent from the UK. I have hex barrels but they sent round head gasket, will these work anyway or do I need to swap them? Also I look on my old head gasket and neither of them had enough holes for all the water jackets, is it normal to block some of them off? Also in need of some new brake calipers, any good sites to buy and parts?

Hi Andy
By the sound of it you have early mc 16/18 barrels if they are hex shape, I reckon you need the hex gasket the early barrels used a 7 mm stud and the later 21/28 round barrels used a 8 mm stud, so I wouldn't even go there, get the correct hex gasket,
