Missfire at revs

Sat Sep 30, 2017 5:26 pm » Post: #1 » Download Post

Hi guys,
Just got my nsrmc18 in but having some problems.
Bike starts at first kick but missfires when idling on top cilinder.
When open throttle more it stops and i get a lot of smoke and cold air.
What i did so far is
Cleaned carbs twice
Float level checked (13 mm)
Switch coils
Till now nothing makes a difference.
Fuel is almost coming out of my exhaust pipe !!!

Any advise please!
Thnx

Check the coil connections.

All model NSR's suffer from the spade end connectors corroding and losing connection.

It sometimes starts and idles ok for a couple of minutes and then gets worse at things get up to temperature.
