i just bought a honda nsr250 1992 as they told me
i live in canada but bike is in greece
the VIN is MC211068099
i was told it is rothmans original
can someone tell me based on the vin number if it is
with respect

Hello Dino, and welcome to NSR-WORLD.

No one can tell you if it's a genuine Rothman's SP, except Honda. All version VINs are random. The only thing you can be sure of is that it's a 1993.

In the ad his nickame is TAKIS and his real name is Panagiotis.
The NSR in the Ad is probably sold, but he seems to deal with motorbikes and he told me that he will have a look for a Rothmans SP (as I'm (just like you) more interested in this version )
My question to you would be, if this is maybe the same seller? If yes I would be very interested if he is serious and everything went fine with your bike? I understand your question very well as I would have exactly the same fears to get a fake!

or even the complete chinese ABS plastics kits for less than 400 USD !

I of course don't want to pay the relatively high SP price and just get a "normal" R that has been pimped with cheap chinese plastic parts!

So did your deal finally end fine and am I allowed to as what you have paid for your Rothmans SP?
