Hi,
Would anyone know if a MC21 fuel tank fit on a MC28 model? Are they the same shape and size and are the mounting tabs located differently.

Yes it will fit no problem same fittings,tap and cap but different shape and the 21 has a smaller capacity,

Yes the MC21 tank will fit.. on the pic with the orange body work,, the tank is a MC21 on a MC28 frame

Bear in mind the MC21 tank has mounting tabs on the side [towards the rear, for the seat unit side panels to clip into] that are superfluous to the MC28. It doesn't affect fitting, but stands out a bit if you are anal about such things.
