Morning all. I have recently acquired an old Mc11. The old girl had been sat for over 5 years and requires a bit of TLC. I am just collecting bits and pieces needed and am having trouble locating a complete engine gasket set. I can find sets for MC 16/18/21. Will these be the same or do I need a set specific for Mc11.

Hello Kris, and welcome to NSR-WORLD!

The MC11 is a model in its own right, and will need a specific gasket set. I expect you will most likely need to have many of the gaskets made, although there may be an aftermarket (Athena, maybe?) kit available in Japan.

I hope you stick with it, and stick around. There's so little done with the MC11, and it would be great to see your project and progress! Good luck!

Hi Andy. Thanks for the reply and advice. Am currently looking at an auction type site in japan. Plenty of parts available out there, just got to make sure they're the correct ones. lol

Hi Kris, if you can salvage any gaskets during strip down, the Gasket Guru, Daniel Mcbryde can make you patterns, I have used him with no problems, he does sell gaskets on the dreaded flea bay, you can look him up on there or phone 01295 760898 or www.gasketguru.co.uk, he specialises in 2 stroke ones, Good luck with it.
