So being the owner of an original Pentax SP and having painted my track bike in Pentax colours it seemed a good idea to buy an original 1980's Pentax GP team paddock jacket complete with padded shoulders

Top work there Paul, I been looking for a long time for period FCC stuff, all iv'e found at the moment is a brake reservoir sock, unlike yourself who have managed to find a pair.

Just for clarity before I get ripped into, that is NOT me...I nicked the image of t'web.

Although I was guilty of such fashion faux pas back in the day, I had an Uvex 1 pc suit in purple ...not dissimilar to this jacket.

Blimey Max, Uvex, i'd forgotten all about them, but yep, fieldsheer leathers were a must, along with the matching fieldsheer paddock jacket and paddock boots, and yes Andy I did have a mullet, even though I was probably too old for one.

Never had the leathers, but did ride in white trainers and have long hair back in my yoof! Not a mullett though, because I never had an LC!

Lets get one thing straight, I never had a mullet

I did however own a 350lc with dream machine Wrangler paint, clip on's, rear sets, swarbick pipes, 375cc big bore and of course the obligatory elsie "protective" clothing, paddock jacket, bleached jeans, high top trainers, motocross gloves and Arai super vent!

Christ Max, that brings back some memories, I spent a good deal of 1994 - 95 and 96 at three sisters with my son when he was 14 and racing with the juniors on a Kwak ar80, and Cagiva 80, sure you must have been there as well.
