so is the nut on the dry clutch basket righthand or a lefthand thread as i cannot remove it as its really tight and scared of breaking something,or am i missing something, thanks
The nut holding the hub on is conventional (right hand) thread, but it's staked, and there's a domed locking washer behind it too. It can be a sod to get off without a decent holding tool, especially if someone's [unnecessarily] used Loctite or over-torqued it previously. _________________ Andy.

Get an old steel clutch plate and weld a handle to it, or alternatively buy one on the dreaded internet. _________________ Proud Father of , 05 ktm 400exc supermoto 2018 honda crf rx supermoto
Yeah, between them being staked, and the special conical washer behind the nut, they can indeed be on there pretty tight... especially if someone's used Loctite previously too! _________________ Andy.
