1997 NSR250R SP Repsol?

Is this a legit OEM bike, or something custom? Mainly in regards to the year model and livery. Obviously the exhaust is custom.

The MC28 Sp did come from factory in the Repsol colours. I thought they finished in 1996 but this could be a late registration bike.

Yes, I have a '96 SP Repsol and thought it was the last year for street legal. I'm thinking the one in the above link is custom paint and probably a '96 or earlier.
