So, another set of cheap mystery carbs (the upgarage listing didn't say the model, and the pics were blurry) was purchased, and this time I ended up with a set of TA21As.
At this point, I'm done with buying more carbs, so I want to work with whatever I have.
That leaves me with two options:
1. Transfer the slide actuator (? the rod thing that lifts the slides and connects to the throttle cable), since the TA06 carbs are supposed to face the other way around, the bracket for the cables is on the other side, and run premix or improvised oil feed (TA06 carbs have no factory 2-stroke oil inlets)
2. Dumb down the TA21A carbs; the set of carbs that I got already didn't come with the servo motor and the air correction tubes. I already transferred the simpler cable choke assembly from the TA06 carbs, and now the question is about how to delete the air correction system.
Can I just cut some tubing and block off the holes for it, or is there stuff that I need to leave connected?
