My bike's finished (sort of!), so I just need to get it back over from René in Holland! I'll hopefully have it back in the spring... although I am still sunning it in Thailand for the winter for a couple more months! Cool

Do you have any history for the bike? I bought mine direct from the importer Sumo Motorcycles in Lee Green, South London in 1994, and picked it up in early '95, after taking my test! Yep -- I ordered it before I had a license!

Sumo later changed to Soto Motorcycles, and moved to Gasoline Alley, Brands Hatch, which is where I collected it from. First ride on an NSR250R was 200 miles back to Devon! Shocked Shocked

Good to hear it’s nearly back together. All I know (from a previous conversation we had a while back) is that our bikes are one digit different on the reg numbers which makes me think they were registered together, I do have a huge folder of history with it so maybe I should actually go through it after 6 years 😂

I say "sort of finished", but it is ready to go, just with temporary bodywork. I want to put OEM bodywork back on it, but it's currently got the (rather poor, but cleaned up) race GRP on it that was on it when René collected it.
