I'm looking for a contact / shipping agent who can ship bikes from Japan to the UK. Has anyone got any names/numbers?

I would be willing to organise a container if anyone else is interested in importing a bike.

He owns a bike business called Moto Foot in SagamiHara Japan. He does alot of bike exporting to the Pacific area, but may be willing to send a crate to the UK if you all come up with enough cash. The more bikes he sends, the better deals he will give you on the bikes.

Call 042-740-2206 or fax him at 042-740-2202. He speaks English OK, but his employees who will probably answer the phone do not.

He has or can get alot of just about anything you want, from GP bikes, street bikes, and dirt bikes. I bought my YZ250 from him when it was just 3 years old for $1900, in mint condition.

If you choose to use Sato's shop, let me know what he is offering. I live about 5min from his store in Sagamihara. If the bike he is going to send you is on his lot, I can take a look at it for you. 90% of the people I know here that ride buy from him. He does get the occational lemon, but he will fix what is wrong. Not worth much to you, being that you are not local.

Dan, I doubt I would import a bike (unless a rather nice '92 RS250 became available) but I may be interested in buying space on a container for parts.
