hi guys finally got round to striping my engine ready for rebuild
only to find that when i striped the clutch there was wear in the plates and a nice blue burn mark round it
but the best bit is the crank
the left side of the crank is shagged bearing was siezed and discoulored its a right mess
not sure where to go from here or why the crank is a total mess
maybe another bottom half engine but not sure what condition thats gonna be in
maybe new bearings for the crank but i aint gonna be able to rebuild myself
is there anyone in the uk that has had there's rebuilt if so where and at what cost my spends are limited at the mo
working 7 days as it is just to pay for my last parts
any suggestions apart from the wife telling me to bin the lot Razz Razz

Stevo,

Nigel Moss had a crank rebuilt by Colin Appleyard, and there are links in both Classifieds and on the homepage for genuine crank bearings.

PM Nigel for some details and Colin Appleyard's phone number.

Best of luck, but whatever you do... DON'T BIN THE LOT!!!! :)

Andy.
