Tis a bit, but I get the feeling he doesn't really wanna sell. _________________ MC21SP Plaything

I think the point is to be pricey....he clearly doesn't want to sell it, or that what he's saying in the listing. It's all just a stunt to appease the 'trouble and strife'
That's big money in the current NSR market but there are only 4000 '28sp's in the world and only 1500 like that, when I was looking at that one in Bristol (they've still got it) I emailed Jamie Wheeler asking what mint SP's fetched in Japan as everyone reckoned that one was crazy money (£4700) and he reckoned a million yen (that's £5k!) was not unheard of for a really pristene example.
I would hypothesize if there's a burn mark made by the exhaust it's not always been restricted. Andy, any chance this is the HRC one you sent me details of put back to normal? _________________ Please do not PM me technical questions, if you can't find it on the Forum start a thread
I remember quite a few years back when they first got on the import bandwagon, all of their stock was very rough. All had badly repainted replica plastics & weren't cheap. They obviously still like the replica paint jobs though looking through that list _________________
I think you can safely say the man will be GUTTED if anyone bids on it, he just better hope his wifey doesn't have a look at the advert.....he may be in trouble
I bought my first MC28se from Bike Direct.... I think it was in 1997 or summit and it was a pristine 1994se in red and white with just 300km on the clock for £3600... My friend has it now and it's still pristine! Everything is and was how it should have been from the factory... _________________ NSR300R - Why did i ever have a 250...
It must have been early 90's i guess when i used to pop over to see what they had. Always had a load of VFR400's with aftermarket fairings & bad repro paint. Ended up trading in my RGV for a Gixer 400 from APS (which closed a few years back). I must of had one of the first GSXR 400s in the UK _________________
and as for the bike direct one ..i went to see it ...and my guess its been track dayed....deep score in the swinger , repainted in areas and non standard rearsets fitted...points to being down on its left side..imho
