If you're a pikey (like me) then just make a plate up to move the lower mounting of the standard hanger. I did it with a piece of steel about an inch and a half long, with a hole drilled in both ends.

Space the top of the hanger out to match, and the peg moves up and back at the same time. Looks standard at a glance, and gives you about two inches more ground clearance.

He even has the caravan with green furry roof to match! Laughing

In fact, the roof is so furry, I was thinking of looking for a set of golf clubs and some tees on eBay for the next track day so I can practice my drive!

Eh? You can barely tell anythings been done, especially in the flesh. You Troll!

I appreciate quality, hence the BMW. I also like to tinker and fix things for free, rather than pay hundreds for something which may look better, but performs the same as something I've built myself...

JHA sells a kit made from aluminum stock that is identical to your idea.

Ya see? Even JHA did it!

Monkey, you have a small willy. Why else would you feel the urge to divert attention by spending a fortune on your bike? Laughing
