cooling solutions

Wed Jul 14, 2004 11:51 pm » Post: #1 » Download Post

Hello,
I have a MC21 SE. What can I do so that the temperature does not go up ?
It rises whenever I'm stuck in traffic for a long time and especially this time of the year where right now (03:00) it has 32 degrees C outside to get the picture.
Thanks

Best thing is an F3 or RS250 radiator! Not the cheapest option, but the best solution!

Make sure there are no obstructions to the air-flow into the radiator, and that there is no damage to any of the "fins".

An NSR should be fine at 32 degrees providing everything is 100% with the cooling system. It gets just as hot (sometimes hotter) in Japan!

Andy.

Flush the cooling system through, it may have 10 years of deposits in there reducing the cooling channel bores.
