this bike is great , but it feels like a toy . i am 6 feet tall 170 lbs . do i need to buy a new rear shock or can i get the stock one to accomidate my size? cheers
If its the same as the MC21 the no its not adjustable and yes you can get after market ones to fit Maxton ohlins hyperpro white power etc, they do cost though or you can get race tech internals change the spring and whilst its in bits get someone a good someone to remove the top bushing and weld in a spacer. You could also get someone to make a new linkage triangle but that will affect the leverage on the shock.Thats about it
An SP shock will obviously go in, and they're adjustable. Thing is, these toys were designed for Jap guys, and suffer with our western sized butts on board, so the best bet is to fit an Ohlins or the like if you can afford it, or if not get your original reworked by a specialist to suit your weight. _________________ MC21SP Plaything
