I'm a virgin to track days. I have thought about it though. I know my bike isn't ready for "the track". Where would you go for a track day? If I remember your near long beach.

It's true, Monkey took his '21r round Donington at a more than respectable pace just after he got it with no mods other than mis-matched tyres and badly cabled up powervalves. He still got his pegs down and rode round the outside of multiple diesel boys, lovely.

You will be surprised to find (or not) that the average track day rider is not that good really.

It's not safety wired & has anti freeze in the rad. That's what I meant by not ready. What else need to be done before a track day?

Now that I think about it I have been on the track. Laguna & Infineon but with a few thousand people. Laughing

doesnt have to be either of the above, unless your trackdays are very different from ours.
you have to lockwire and use water when you race.

I have a stock SP and it is as good as it gets.

go to www.fastrackrider.com or call them and mention my name and they will treat you well.

you should be fine with a stock NSR....just start from the novice class.

Dana at fastrack will take care of you when you call.

Calnifornia Speedway at Fontana and Willow Spring are places my teammate and I usually go.

How long have you been riding??????

Well there's bugger-all buying and selling going on, and if you're going to have a discussion about it, then it goes in Discussion!

Really, how hard is it to start a related thread rather than turn a classifieds post into a discussion?!

Are you kidding me. It takes to much effort to start a new discussion. Laughing

I've been riding for 10yrs & all on the little 21. So safety wires are not needed? Sorry I thought they were.
