Hey guys, I am finally getting settled in here in the US. All the bikes arrived safely, and I am looking to get them titled/registered here. Can anyone help?? Darned low digit VIN's... :(
By the way, my username used to be "Wrench", but I lost the password, and no longer use the same email address, so I cant get my password back.
Email me at drherr at email dot com if any of you can help me out.
Not sure if Charles can recover your P/W (doubt it!) but he should be able to delete the old "Wrench" account so you can re-register a new one if you wish.
I live on the northeast coast N.H. & in the state of Maine they do not require a title for anythiing under 250cc. So you can pretty much register any thing on or off-road. I had a friend who lived there and sold my NSR too him (on paper) and he registered it and sold it back to me a few months later. I road it on his reg. for the last part of the summer. I just paid for his fee's and insurance.
So I guess you need to make a friend in Maine !
That's just one way, I'm sure people know others.
Oh, When I did the transfer I did have too have the DOT check the bike and issue a N.H. VIN tag, but not a problem. _________________
