Usually carry my documents (license, MOT, insurance, and tax) in a little backpack, along with my clear visor incase it gets dark or cloudy, a jet kit, and tools for removing the tank, carbs, and plugs!

I know the tax (in the UK) is supposed to be displayed and there can be a fine for not doing so, but since I had a tax disc stolen before (and that alone nearly cost me a mint) I found that when I did get questioned about it once, my polite reply fell on sympathetic ears.

Do you not have any friends/coleagues who could order this for you ?

Alternatively get the SHIKANSEN down it only takes a couple of hours and OSAKA is a realy nice place

I had a tax disc stolen as well years ago so on my R6 its bolted were the tool kit is under the rear seat,if i were to get stopped i would remove the seat and hope its a very understanding copper,i keep the NSR one in the toolbox thing.I dont understand why we need to display tax discs,carry your insurance docs or MOT sheet as the plod can check if your vehicle is briefed up
