Hi
I was just about to put the barrels back on my bike when I noticed a letter B stamped on the top of my new piston! My barrels have A stamped on them and when I ordered the parts I asked for pistons for A barrels, also the reciept for the parts states "piston for A cylinder" in the description.I believed you needed A pistons for A barrels and B pistons for B barrels etc which seems logical. I checked the parts list in the parts manual and there is no A piston listed and my part number piston (13102-KV3-830) is listed as a B piston.
Have I missed something or have I been sent the wrong pistons? I have tried contacting the dealer but I guess they dont work saturdays and will try them again on Monday but Iam itching to get the engine back together so any help would be appreciated.
Hi Andy
Thanks for the quick reply, I have just tried clicking on the notes and nothing happens? I have tried accessing the notes on the parts pages before and the same thing what am I doing wrong?
I "test" the Online Parts Manual every time I post a link to it, or whenever there is a question about it, and it always comes back down to the viewer's computer settings.
In no particular order, the common faults are screen resolution, Javascript, and firewalls.
I test the pages with MS Internerd Explorer and Mozilla Firefox. _________________ Andy.

Hi Andy
I altered my screen resolution and bingo i can now accesss the notes!Just to confirm on the barrel/ piston chart the column on the left is the barrel type and the row across the top is the piston type so an A barrel should have a B piston! Makes sense!!!
Thanks again for the help on this Andy.
Andy always gave me a hard time about that. Even forced me to use that as a requirement for the forums and the market place (people running in 1024x800).
The parts manual was hard due to the amount of information I was trying to fit on a screen at once. Just couldn't find a way to do it.
my computer was set up as it came from the shop and as my knowledge on them is very basic I did not know to set it any different but now I do.
The parts manual on this site is the absolute buisness (As is all of the site actually), the amount of time you guys must put into it makes my head spin!
Edit: Actually running 1280x1024 now, to see how long my eyes hold out for! It's a bit small on 17" monitors though! _________________ Andy.

I actually run 1400x1050 on my laptop, but when I designed the parts manual, I did it for a 1280x1024 display, as going smaller was making things just a little smaller then I felt was useful.
Can someone over on that island get Andy a 19" monitor? Every time I come up with something, all I ever hear is "Can you make it fit my 1024x768 display"? _________________ Charles Gallant
